ritual layered on ritual. mandalas, originally a representation of wholeness and a model for the organizational structure of life itself, are cosmic diagrams showing the relation of the infinite and the world that extends beyond and within various minds and bodies. here, I am using my own rose-making ritual to illustrate this historic and still prevalent symbolic ritual.
